Careers in Colour #15: CALD Conference reflection, new partnerships and more!
What's been happening at CiC lately and interesting events and opportunities to check out
🎤 Achieving CALD Leadership Conference
Some of our team attended (and spoke!) at the Achieving CALD Leadership in the Public Sector conference in Canberra last week organised by The Hatchery (Hub) with support from MindTribes Pty Ltd. Leaders, advocates and allies came together to discuss the urgent need for inclusive recruitment, promotion, and retention strategies in Federal and state government agencies. These conversations are critical, but as highlighted by conference speakers and panellists, must translate into real, structural change.
During the two days which was expertly moderated by MindTribes Co-Founder Div Pillay and Dr Belle Lim delegates had the opportunity to hear from many fantastic speakers including CiC’s very own Bec Yan to also share her own insights and experiences. Check out key takeaways here.
